“Acomita is one of four communities within the Acoma Reservation of New Mexico. Famous for it’s Pre-Columbian Puebloan Architecture, it is an enduring example of how a truly sustainable architecture serves it’s community and is of the landscape.
Acomita is also a word that signifies home. Sure, it is the town of my birth. But more than that, it is a word that when I hear it, creates a profoundly visceral reaction in my body. I want my clients to feel about the spaces I create for them, the way I feel when I think about where my story starts.“
